What is the Public School Sytem Thinking?
Posted on Friday, April 08, 2011 2:22 PM
It never ceases to amaze me that the Public School System makes such poor decisions in some circumstances. Should the public schools really be telling parents they can support children with needs when they can`t?

My experience is that the Autism Team in the Public School Board spend the minimal amount of time with any one child with special needs to adequately provide professional recommendations. They often give generic answers and suggestions to parents and school staff. Do we even know what the qualifications of these people really are?
